What is invoice control?
The invoice control functionality in ePortal gives you an easy way of gaining an insight into all the energy bills you receive for your business or organization. This application enables you to chart and correctly report historical energy consumption on a month-by-month or year-by-year basis for the various sources (gas, water, electricity and fuel oil), as well as by supplier. When reading in the incoming bills we make a distinction between, among other things, energy consumption, energy costs, the network charges, energy taxes and the gross and net totals.
Why use invoice control?
The invoice control functionality in ePortal gives you a single tool that keeps track of all your energy bills, analyses them and makes it easy to consult them rapidly. The old bills always remain available, even if you decide to change your energy supplier, so you never lose any data. Furthermore, because you have a historical overview of your energy bills, you will be in a better position to draw up a detailed analysis and estimate of your budget. This enables you to check the accuracy of the energy bills and to create a forecast for them at the end of the financial year. This leads to more efficient allocation of resources for each branch or building in your business and to relevant reporting within your organization.
How do we do it?
All invoices received via the business or directly from your energy supplier are read in by personalized mapping and loaded in our online tool. Our sophisticated underlying calculation tool converts the incoming bill into a format that is easy to consult and to understand, and ready to be analyzed!
